CO - CURRICULAR ACTIVITY
HMS OUTREACH TEAM
I represented my faculty, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, for various events under The HMS Outreach Team.
In this co-curricular activity, students are given the opportunity to give back to the school while also developing their leadership skills. Apart from representing the school at external events, we also plan our own internal events.
My first duty as a HOT member was at the annual HMS Oscars where students are recognize for their achievements.
I assisted in course counselling and various school talks during Open House.

Some Events That I Have Done:

RED Camp
In 2018, I was an emcee Ngee Ann Polytechnic's RED Camp. In the span of three days, I spoke to a total of approximately 600 people. This event has taught me how to handle a crowd and has furthered hone my public speaking skills. It also challenged myself to preserve when I began o feel lethargic.

Open House
I carried out various roles during Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Open House 2019 & 2020. I was tasked to be an emcee for school visits, course consultant and other various roles. Throughout the three days, I learnt how to think on my feet and adapt to changes quickly. This event also taught me the importance of product knowledge.

Annual Bonding Camp
I assisted in planning and execution as a student leader for our club's annual bonding camp. This involved me carrying out dry runs for the activities plan and brainstorming fun and innovative games for our new members to get to know each other as well as feel integrated into our club.
