ON-CAMPUS EVENTS
RED CAMP 16
I signed up to be a student leader for RED Camp (Roadmap to Explore and Discover Camp) in 2019. This camp is Ngee Ann Polytechnic's biggest marketing event and is targeted to prospective students of the institution.
This event had a preparation period of 3 months and I learnt many valuable skills and had multiple opportunities to showcase my leadership skills.
What I Did:

Assigned role of Identities In-Charge and Sub-Tribe Leader

Proposal Writing

Ran the event to a total of 1400 campers alongside 200 student leaders

Equipped myself with relevant product knowledge for the event

Ensured that the student leaders in my sub-tribe were clear of their role

COMPULSORY SCHOOL ORIENTATION PROGRAM
I signed up to be a student leader for my faculty's orientation program in April 2019. This event helps to integrate the freshman of the faculty into polytechnic life.
I was elected as a tribe leader and was in charge of various tasks throughout the event This meant balancing duties as a tribe leader and a sub-group leader.
What I Did:

Ensured the welfare of the student leaders in my tribe

Arranged dance practices and other miscellaneous meetings

Was accountable for 186 Freshman and 30 Student Leaders

Ensured the safety of my tribe while still keeping spirits high

Handled administrative matters relating to both student leaders and freshman
